After registration is completed, we will confirm the contents. Please keep in mind that If in case JFWO finds the contents of your application to be false or untrue, issuing of your pass may be turned down, and registration deleted.

Use of Personal Information

The privileged information you register will be utilized for the below purposes.
The privileged information registered will be stored within the server computer of the Japan Fashion Week Organization (JFWO, hereinafter) located in Japan, for 3 years following the completion of the said Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO term to which you have registered, then promptly erased thereafter. For those whom did not choose “wish for information offered by organizations, corporations, events, related to JFWO and/or Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO”, your registered privileged information will not be used for such purposes. If/when you do not agree to the below specified usage of privileged information, you cannot/will not be registered as a buyer at Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO. Furthermore, if you withdraw your agreement, your said registration will be cancelled. If in case you are registering from within EEA margins, your privileged information will be forwarded to JFWO which is outside EEA margins.
For people registering from within EEA margins, please be sure to also confirm the privacy policy for users from within EEA margins.

Appropriate protection of personal information and privacy officer

Japan Fashion Week Organization (hereinafter the “Organization”) will collect personal information of registrants appropriately, manage said information appropriately and securely, while putting effort into maintaining it in an accurate and latest state.
This Organization is taking protective measures against leaks, destruction and/or damage of personal information. Furthermore, in the case that employees handle such personal information, this Organization provides necessary and appropriate supervision over said employee.

Collection and usage purpose of personal information

Collected personal information of registrants will be used for the below specified purposes under all possible safety measures, within the limits of properly carrying out the operations of Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2023 A/W (hereinafter the “Event”) . Furthermore, personal information will not be used for any other usage than those purposes specified below.

(1) To confirm and/or convey information necessary in interviewing this Event
(2) To post handout materials such as guidebooks and/or participation certificates, necessary in interviewing this Event.
(3) To inform of and receive participation registration of this Event and other related events.

Sharing of personal information, provision of personal information to third party partners and/or usage for purposes other than those intended

Except for the cases indicated below, personal information provided will not be disclosed to any third party whatsoever, other than the registrant themselves and/or this Organization.

(1) Limited only to if in case the registrant consents, in order to provide registrants with information on the Event and/or other related events, the Organization will be providing personal information with “Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2023 A/W Participating Designer Corporations”, “Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2023 A/W Special Event Sponsors (decided upon from sponsor corporations/supporting organizations), along with providing registrants with information of fashion related events of member corporations of this Organization “Japan Fashion Week Organization Members (As of July 1, 2022: 10 organization members, 25 business corporate members, 4 individual members, 39 members in total). If/when providing third parties with personal information of registrants, in accordance with article 25 of the Personal Information Protection Law, this Organization will create a record of such provision and store the record. (2) If/when disclosing as “statistical data”, not able to identify any individual.
(3) If/when consigning personal information to third parties within necessary scopes to achieve usage objectives.
(4) If/when disclosure and/or provision is required or ordered by law.

Consignment of personal information

Due to carrying out of operations, there are times in which it becomes necessary to consign personal information to business consignees. In such case, we will select a consignee which is certified in handling personal information properly, in addition to having them carry out the same level of protective measures against leaks, destruction and/or damage of personal information and provide necessary and appropriate supervision.

Disclosure, correction and deletion of personal information

Under regulation of the Personal Information Privacy Law, registrants have the right to demand the disclosure, correction and/or stop of usage of one’s registered personal information at any time, so in such case, please contact the organization office below. In such case, upon confirming identification of the registrant, we will swiftly answer within a reasonable timeframe.
