When we are interested in something and want to know about it, we start with knowing its structure, observe it for familiarization, disassemble, construct it again, and it will lead to make.
I studied Footwear Design and Making in Tokyo, before furthering my studies at London College of Fashion in U.K. Since finishing from Fashion Design and Millinery Course, I worked at several millinery atelier.
While I was learning fashion design, I was interested in the beauty of the decoration of Millinery which is also a symbol of British culture.
While trying to learn and think that skill can be utilized for various manufacturing, I thought if I could make it general-purpose for fashion in general regardless of format such as shoes, hat, clothes etc, I started couture style feather brand [IIMISA].
Today, I also produce collection pieces and stage costumes.
