Aiming to expand the strengthening international transmission of Fashion Week in Tokyo, we attract and support Press and Buyers from overseas, who introduce the brands and designers based in Tokyo.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To expand the participation of international press and buyers in the 2026 S\/S Season of the Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo organized by Japan Fashion Week Organization (Period: Monday, Sept. 1st, 2025 \u2013 Saturday, Sept. 6th, 2025), we will be offering to support portions of travel expenses for applicants who are selected and meet certain criteria. Applications will be open to all overseas-based press and buyers from today (Friday, May 16th, 2025) until Friday, June 6th, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday, May 16th, 2025 – Friday, June 6th, 2025 18:00PM (Japan Time)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility Requirements<\/strong><\/strong>
Overseas-based media editors and freelance journalists, as well as any editors, writers, stylists, or photographers affiliated with a media outlet, shop buyers and merchandisers, including online store.
Press: At least 3 articles covering Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 26 SS highlights (multiple brands) and accompanying Social Networking coverage.
Buyers: Approximately 5 business meetings with participating brands (JFWO will coordinate as necessary).
\uff08Includes JFW NEXT BRAND AWARD 2026 Grand Prix designer (Brand) Business Meetings.\uff09<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Those who actively attend shows and events necessary for coverage and business meetings, participate and cooperate with events organized by JFWO (JFWO will coordinate invitations and appointments as necessary).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u30fbTravel Support<\/strong><\/strong>
Partial support for expenses related to visiting Japan (Amount of support to be negotiated depending on the conditions of the activities and travel expenses. Flight and hotel accommodation must be arranged by the applicant).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u30fbDesired Length of Stay<\/strong><\/strong>
Press : Sunday, Aug. 31st, 2025 – Saturday, Sept. 6th, 2025 (length of stay negotiable)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buyers : Sunday, Aug. 31st, 2025 – Wednesday, Sept. 10th, 2025 (Considering business meetings for the exhibition after Fashion Week, we desire to stay until the middle of the following week.\/ Negotiable)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
