Symbolizing the aims of strengthening the international competitiveness of Japan\u2019s fashion industry and establishing Tokyo as a global hub of fashion information, the logo has been displayed in a wide range of settings as an iconic symbol of Japan Fashion Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the former logo has become familiar to many, JFWO announces the launch of a new logo at the milestone of its 20th anniversary, with the hope of further growth and global advancement of Japan\u2019s fashion industry, and as an expression of that commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the initiative previously known as the \u201cCollection Division\u201d will, as of this date, be renamed the \u201cFashion Week Division\u201d This change aims to increase recognition of the term \u201cFashion Week\u201d and to more clearly communicate the nature of the organization\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JFWO\u2019s dual mission\u2014first, to promote Japanese designers and creative talent internationally through the \u201cFashion Week Division,\u201d and second, to support the development of Japan\u2019s textile industry both domestically and internationally\u2014makes it a rare organization globally. With the launch of this new logo, JFWO reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the sustained growth of Japan\u2019s textile and fashion industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"31940\" src=\"https:\/\/rakutenfashionweektokyo.com\/jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/JFWO_logo.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31940\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\uff1c<strong>New Logo Concept<\/strong>\uff1e<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Designed to communicate the spirit of Japanese fashion craftsmanship to the world, the new logo transforms the letters \u201cJFWO\u201d into the kanji character for \u201cclothing\u201d (\u670d). Its minimalist use of straight and curved lines draws inspiration from traditional Japanese seals (hanko), while the circular motif references the Hinomaru of the Japanese flag.
