The internationally renowned trade show TRANO\u00cf, originating in Paris, France, will once again present TRANO\u00cf TOKYO A\/W 26 \u2013 27 during the Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2026 A\/W season, under its partnership with JFWO. Going beyond the framework of a conventional trade fair, TRANO\u00cf TOKYO is steadily establishing its presence as an international market event. This edition will showcase collections by Asian brands renowned for their traditional craftsmanship, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, alongside heritage brands from Europe and the United States, as well as highly creative Japanese labels. In addition, a range of special programs is planned, including installations that embody Parisian fashion culture and exhibitions by popular Paris-based brands, offering a multifaceted experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

roop Award 2025-2026 \uff3f The \u2018roop\u2019 project by Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Store’s fashion subscription service \u2018AnotherADdress\u2019 will hold its final judging in a show format.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“roop” is a project is guided by the themes of reducing clothing waste, extending the lifespan of garments, and passing on craftsmanship, we collect cherished clothing and transform it into upcycled pieces through the hands of designers.
These renewed items are then made available for rental on AnotherADdress, creating a new model of circular fashion. The \u201croop Award 2025-2026\u201d upcycled works, selected through judging votes in the professional and student\/amateur divisions alongside evaluation by AnotherADdress buyers, will undergo final judging in a fashion show format at Hall B of the Rakuten FWT 2026 A\/W official venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berlin Showroom and Berlin Fashion Showcase (Cocktail Reception)<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Fashion Council Germany e.V. will present a curated \u201cBerlin Showroom\u201d within its internationalization project Berlin Fashion X International. Also, as part of the \u201cBerlin Fashion X International\u201d delegation trip to Tokyo, they will hold a cocktail reception co-organized with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Tokyo on 16 March. These events aim to create a platform for creative exchange and cross-cultural dialogue, strengthening the global presence of emerging and established Berlin- and Germany-based designers within the Japanese market. The cocktail reception and showroom will bring together 11 curated selections of Berlin-based designers: Balletshofer, Clara Colette Miramon, Kasia Kucharska, Malaika Raiss, Milk of Lime, Natascha von Hirschhausen, Richert Beil, Sia Arnika, Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Angelique, Unvain, and William Fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
