In the case that you participate in the Tokyo Collection Week, you are required to pay a registration fee.

Note
After you are officially accepted as an exhibitor, an exhibition contract and a bill for exhibition fees (usage fee for venues, registration fee) will be sent to you. Please send the completed exhibition contract back to the Japan Fashion Week Organization by Fri, July 11, 2008.
The exhibition fees stated above should be transferred to the designated bank account by Tue, August 19, 2008.
If you fail to meet the requirements, we may disqualify you from the exhibition.
Application guidelines
Documents to be submitted
- When applying, please bring or send an application form, an brand logo data, an designer portrait date and esigner information hearing sheet (this should be on CD-ROM) to the Japan Fashion Week Organization by Wed, June 4, 2008. (You are kindly requested NOT to apply via e-mail or fax.)
As for an application form and designer information hearing sheet, please download them from the “Application form download”. - For those applying for the Tokyo Collection Week and the JFW Designers’ Exhibition for the first time, please bring or send a designer profile and brand information materials (brand concept and product photos, etc…) as screening materials, together with your application form and designer information data (CD-ROM).
Designer profile and brand information materials should be submitted in printed output form, NOT on CD-ROM.

Applications must arrive at the Japan Fashion Week Organization No later than Wed, June 4, 2008.
Screening for Exhibition at the Tokyo Collection Week and the JFW Designers’ Exhibition
The Exhibition Coordination Committee will examine all submitted documents and select the exhibitors and recipients of the Designer Support Program. Designers who apply for the Designer Support Program need to have an interview after they have passed the application screening. As for an interview date, we will contact them separately.
In terms of the results, these will be forwarded to the listed contact person via e-mail by Fri, June 13, 2008. Please be advised that we do not accept any inquiries regarding the screening results.
Screening for exhibition at the Tokyo Collection Week
Screening will be conducted by the following criteria.
- Creativity
・You must have clear brand concept.
・Your business must be continued. - A minimum level of business management system
・Trademark must be registered.
・You must have an operation system to meet the exhibition outline.
・You must have capacity to pay exhibition fees. - Business meeting during the JFW
・You must have a plan to hold exhibition/business meeting within the JFW’s time frame.
・You must have a manufacturing system to deal with received order.
*If you participated in the past JFW and caused the following problems, these problems may affect the screening.
・You changed schedule without notice and created confusion.
・You did not hold exhibition/business meeting.
・You eroded people’s trust in JFW.
Screening for the JFW Designers’ Exhibition
Screening will be conducted by the same criteria as the Tokyo Collection Week. Screening will be conducted by the same criteria as the Tokyo Collection Week.
Designer Support Program
The 7th JFW in TOKYO will offer the Designer Support Program for selected designers and provide HARAJUKU QUEST HALL free of charge as an exhibition venue.
- Qualifications
Applicants for the Designer Support Program must meet the following qualifications.
(1) Your brand must be less than 5 years old from the date of company establishment, brand launch or the start of collection.
(2) Nationality is no object however, you must meet any of the following conditions.
1.You must have your business base in Japan.
2.You must create products in Japan. - Criteria of selecting
Selecting of the Designer Support Program will be conducted based on the following criteria.
(1)You must meet the exhibition criteria of the Tokyo Collection Week.

(2)Your business must have potential to grow.
(3)A need of financial support must be accepted.
(4)There is no limit of number of support but after the second support, we will examine designers considering their actual achievement. - Process of selecting

Collection tickets
Exhibitors at the Tokyo Collection Week are requested to provide the organizer with collection tickets (invitations). We are planning to issue about 60 of those tickets for Tokyo Midtown Hall Hall A, about 30 for LAFOLET MUSEUM ROPPONGI, about 30 for HARAJUKU QUEST HALL and about 20 for other venues.
We will offer them to the official sponsors and as web tickets present.
As for the number of tickets going to the invited journalists from overseas, these will be forwarded to you separately.
Permission for recording, videotaping and photography
At both the Tokyo Collection Week and the JFW Designers’ Exhibition, the organizer or the persons authorized by the organizer shall record, videotape and photograph to create recorded, videotaped and photographed materials (hereinafter referred to as “recorded audio/visual materials”).
Please be advised that the organizer reserves the right to offer and use the recorded audio/visual materials for publicity and/or advertising purposes (including distribution via internet and hard copies).
