Applications for the 5th Japan Fashion Week in TOKYO
Qualification
In order to participate in the Tokyo Collection Week, you must be a member of the Council of Fashion Designers Tokyo (CFD). If a designer officially accepted as an exhibitor is not a member of the CFD, he/she will be requested to obtain membership at the time of acceptance. If a designer is not a member of the CFD, please make sure to contact the following address or number before registration. However, this does not apply to participants from overseas.

Registration fee
In the case that you participate in the Tokyo Collection Week, you are required to pay a registration fee of 100,000 yen (consumption tax not included)
Note
After you are officially accepted as an exhibitor, an exhibition contract and a bill for exhibition fees (usage fee for venues, registration fee) will be sent to you.
Please send the completed exhibition contract back to the Secretariat by Fri, June 29, 2007.
The exhibition fees stated above should be transferred to the designated bank account by Mon, August 20, 2007.
If you fail to meet the requirements, we may disqualify you from the exhibition.
Application Guidelines
Documents to be submitted
- When applying, please send an application form and designer information data (this should be on CD-ROM) to the Fashion Strategy Forum Secretariat by Thu, June 7, 2007. (You are kindly requested NOT to apply via e-mail or fax.)
For the designers who participated in the 4th JFW in TOKYO, please send an application form only. (There is no need to send any designer information data.)
We do NOT accept any applications after the deadline. For any inquiries or advice, please contact the Secretariat before the deadline. - The submitted designer information will be used for administrative purposes by the Fashion Strategy Forum and the Council of Fashion Designers Tokyo. Please be advised that in the event that designer information is not received by the Secretariat by Thu, June 7, 2007, such information may not appear in publicity materials.
- For those applying for the Tokyo Collection Week and the JFW Designers' Exhibition for the first time, please send a designer profile, company/department profile and brand information materials (product photos, etc..) as screening materials, together with your application form. Please be advised that any submitted materials are not returnable.
- For those who wish to apply for the Designer Support Program, please send a designer profile, company/department profile and brand information materials (product photos, etc..) as screening materials, together with your application form. Screening for exhibition
After the application deadline, the Fashion Strategy Forum Exhibition Coordination Committee will examine all submitted documents and select the exhibitors and recipients of the Designer Support Program.
In terms of the results, these will be forwarded to the listed contact person via e-mail by Fri, June 15, 2007.
Please be advised that we do not accept any inquiries regarding the screening results.
Collection tickets
Exhibitors at the Tokyo Collection Week are requested to provide the organizer with collection tickets (invitations).
We are planning to issue about 60 of these tickets for Tokyo Midtown Hall Hall A, about 30 for HARAJUKU QUEST HALL, about 30 for Tokyo Midtown Hall Hall B and about 20 for other venues, and will offer them to the official sponsors and as web tickets present.
As for the number of tickets going to the invited journalists from overseas, these will be forwarded to you separately.
Permission for recording, videotaping and photography
At both the Tokyo Collection Week and the JFW Designers' Exhibition, the organizer or the persons authorized by the organizer shall record, videotape and photograph to create recorded, videotaped and photographed materials(hereinafter referred to as "recorded audio/visual materials").
Please be advised that the organizer reserves the right to offer and use the recorded audio/visual materials for publicity and/or advertising purposes.(including distribution via internet and hard copies.)
