| Joining J&R as a merchandiser
in 1980, Asatsuki became chief designer of LUNA MATTINO in 1987, leaving in 1998
to set up Asatsuki Design Entertainment and work as a freelance designer. After
designing and making costumes for a production of "Elizabeth" shown at the Imperial
Theater, he went on to do many more costumes for theatrical productions. He opened
a flagship store in Kaigan, Tokyo in 2005 and was appointed producer of Chriscelin
the same year. |
