Born in Kishiwadashi City,
Osaka,Koshino won first prize at the Japan Designers' Committee Design Concors
in 1957 while enrolled at Bunka Fashion College. After graduating in 1961, she
was appointed designer for the Young Ladies' Corner at Ginza Komatsu Store. Establishing
Hiroko Koshino International in 1982, she developed women's pr?t-a-porter lines
and various license businesses. She started Hiroko Koshino Design Office in 1988
and 40th anniversary in 1997, the same year being awarded the 15th Mainichi Fashion
Award Grand Prix. In October 2003, she opened a store in Aoyama and launched a
fragrance in the same year.
