| Graduating from New York's
FIT in 1990, Ito was appointed as chief accessory designer at Comme Des Garcons
in 1994. In 1998, she left to set up 00S/S with artist Takeshi Matsuoka with the
aim of creating a new take on fashion, interior, life style design and art while
in 1999 establishing the brand Hisui which debuted at the Tokyo Collections in
the Autumn/Winter 2001/2002 sea son. On year later, she had deals with boutiques
in France, America, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Ito was a participant in the Creation
Business Forum in 2005. |
