Ando began designing in 1997
and started producing lessthan* in 1999, later going on to work as its designer.
He also designs CD jackets for musicians, characters for TV programs, company
logos, and handles costu mes for mov ies and the theater amongst other things.
The company lessthan* was founded in 2005 and will hold its first catwalk collection
at the inaugural Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo this autumn.
