After studying at Parsons,
Katsui graduated from Cent ral St . Martins, London and set up Mint Designs with
Nao Yagi, also a St. Martins graduate, and Yuske Takeyama , a gradua te of Bunka
Fashion College who worked for vario us brands in Lo ndon and Paris. The brand
was launched in July 2001 and participated in the Tokyo Col lections from October
2002. They worked on costumes for the movie "Casshern" in 2004 and won the 7th
Moet et Chandon New Designer Award in 2005.
