Tanaka established the brand
S.T.A.F. in 1997 and launched his collection line Satoru Tanaka in 2002, debuting
it at the 2003-04Autumn/Winter Tokyo Collections. In 2004, he moved his store
location from Harajuku/Omotesando to Aoyama, renaming it Satoru Tanaka Aoyama.
He was appointed creative director of apparel giant WorldOs Boycott brand in 2005,
with 2005-06 Autumn/Winter his first collection for the label.
