Hatakeyama graduated from Tokyo
Mode Institute in 1985 and moved to France in 1988 to work on a license business.
He debuted the brand T・H・D La Maison at the Tokyo Collections in 1994. He was
appointed creative director of large Chinese fashion firm Seven Wolves in 2002
and handles many contracts in cluding uniforms for Idemitsu Oil gasoline stand
attendants.
