Takeuchi is a graduate of
Esmod Japon. He joined Comme Des Garcons as a pattern cutter in 1999. Nakanishi,
also an Esmod Japon graduate, worked on the Vivienne Tam brand at Sanei International
before going on to work on an installation project. The two established THEATRE
PRODUCTS with PR and planner Kao Kanamori in 2001 and are known for high quality
patterns, fun, wearable clothes, collaborations with artists from outside the
fashion world and performance-based fashion shows. They opened a store in Shibuya
in 2 0 0 4 .
