Hayashi launched Basile 28
for Five Foxes in 1988 and in 1994 launched Marie Duchamps for Sanei Interna tional.
He was appointed creative director of Harrods in 1998 and the following year debuted
the Harrods Wedding line. He was appointed creative director of Old England in
2000 and the following year showed Tite at the Tokyo Collections with the backing
of Jione. He was appointed chief designer of Sanyo ShokaiOs To Be Chic brand in
2002.
