Fukuda began studying art while
at high-school and went on to do two years at art college before going on to study
graphic design at Setsu Mode Seminar and Toyo Institute of Art and Design. She
opened the boutique WR in TokyoOs Daikanyama in 1999. She worked as creative di
rector of Arnold Palmer from 2001-2003. The label Triptych got its catwalk debut
in 2003 and Fukuda was appointed creative director thesame year.
