Koshino joined Hiroko Koshino
Design Office in 1997 and debuted the Yuma Koshino brand the following year. She
presented her line at a Paris trade show in 2000 and was appointed chief planner
for the Trunk brand in 2001. In 2003, she was appointed as a special instructor
at the Kyoto Uni versity of Fine Arts. In 2005, she launched a kimono line in
collabo ration with Kyoho and started her own line the same year.
