IAMISIGO: Bubu Ogisi is a designer and owner of IAMISIGO an independent fashion brand in Ghana andNigeria that seeks awareness of how African culture can be fused with an audacious but yet minimal design aesthetic.
OLUBIYI THOMAS: The label explores stories of multiculturalism and hidden identity, borne out of creative director Olubiyi’s self-reflection on his Nigerian origins and Scottish upbringing. Inspired by his heritage, Olubiyi vividly reimagines the linkages between British Post-Colonialism and African cultural history. Focusing on carefully sourced sustainable textiles and craftsmanship each piece is handmade in London.
LABRUM LONDON : Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and growing up in London, the merging of these communities has always been a source of inspiration and joy for Foday Dumbaya. Being passionate about West African style design and British tailoring, Foday seeks for the integration of those two cultures. Most of LABRUM’s cloths have the label of “Designed by an immigrant”, which shows the designer’s wish to transform the concept of immigration in the West.
