Shunta Sakai studied at Bunka Fashion College before moving to the UK and completing a master's degree at Istituto Marangoni, London. He then worked as a womenswear designer for Alexan-der McQueen and Burberry. After returning to Japan, established

a design office. He has provided designs for national and interna-tional brands and is currently a designer for DAIWA, etc. In 2023,he started paratrait.
