Like the Latin tangere, meaning ‘to touch,’ and the word ‘tangent,’ which signifies an infinity of polar opposites, TAN presents clothing invested with aspiration for the limitless potential of knit wear. By instilling the phrase ‘from yarn to garment’ at the centre of our practice, we create intricately figured textures and designs that make full use of a wide variety of knitting techniques. With an understanding of how a single thread and stitch has the ability to transform, TAN continues to delicately and boldly express a myriad of possibilities through knitwear.

After graduating from a clothing college, he gained experience at a knit manufacturer before starting TAN in the 2015 fall/winter season.
