Born in 1985 in South Korea and based in Seoul, she grew up watching her dad working in pattern design, she naturally had a interest in fashion and design. Not like the other young Korean fashion designers who studied abroad, she studied at Myongji College specilising in textile.

Launched fleamadonna in March 2007, started as a very small business. Her design has the respect for female musicians, who are called DIVAs, and their designs, her design is what she really wants to make not just for the mass production and consumption.
Within these last few years, the brand has gained reputation in Korea, Japan and Hong Kong as well as the other Asian countries. Now the brand has stockists in New York, London, LA, Paris etc.
