After graduating from a fashion school in Tokyo, designer Hachi worked as an assistant at a fashion brand and then joined the select shop CANDY, where he was in charge of sales, buying and planning. In 2008, he presented his first exhibition, featuring an installation of dolls made from garbage bags dressed in clothing. In 2010, he launched his brand under the name "BALMUNG". In 2018, he received Tokyo Governor Award at the "Tokyo New Designer Fashion Grand Prix". Recent activities include an installation at the art gallery "Decameron" in Shinjuku in 2022, and another at the art space "WHITEHOUSE" in Shinjuku in 2023.Brand Profile
