Bugu Pala was born in Istanbul in 1991 and received her diploma in art and design from Central Saint Martins in June 2010. In July 2013, she was awarded her BA (Hons) in Fashion Design and Technology: Surface Textiles (Print specialization) degree from London College of Fashion. In May 2015, her work was selected for the trend report of International Talent Support and on January 2015 for the WGSN A/W 16/17 Fashion Forecast. She was one of the finalists of the prestigious 22nd KOZA Young Designers Contest in June 2014. She exhibited her designs in Truman Brewery Gallery - March 2014. In 2013, she was announced as a finalist for the SDC London Region World of Colour, ISKO and London College of Fashion collaborative project “Design Denim” and TEXPRINT®
