Born on July 12th in Nagasaki. Attended a fashion arts college in Fukuoka, majoring in fashion business in order to achieve the goal of becoming a buyer. However, after being exposed to many different styles, there was a realization that existing fashion was not personally satisfying. This triggered the decision to become a designer instead.

Met Junya Tashiro while attending college and self-teaching how to tailor. Became an assistant for JUNYA TASHIRO. Found Noir Fr in fall/winter of 2010/2011.

Noir Fr originates from Noir Frere, meaning brothers of black. This name comes from the fact that many of the designs use black as base, in combination with the hope that these clothes will be loved by their owners, just like brothers.
