To commemorate the 20th anniversary of JFWO, we’re hosting a talk session in collaboration with WWDJAPAN as a special program for the podcast series “RE;MODE_ROOM20” at “MANSALVA,” a restaurant associated with HIROKO KOSHINO!

With “First Summer Uika” serving as the main host and WWDJAPAN Editor-in-Chief “Kaname Murakami” as the facilitator, the event will feature special discussions with legendary guest HIROKO KOSHINO and designer guests TAAKK (Takuno Morikawa), TANAKA (Sayori Tanaka), and ODAKHA (Mari Odaka).

In this feature, each designer shares stories about what sparked their interest in fashion, as well as anecdotes on the theme of “Me 20 Years Ago” in celebration of JFWO’s 20th anniversary.
We explore the 20-year history of JFWO from the perspective of WWD JAPAN and delve into the secret behind the vitality of HIROKO KOSHINO, who remains active even as she celebrates her 90th birthday. Additionally, one of the highlights is the exchange woven together with loving words from the legends, accompanied by footage of each brand’s 2026 AW collections.

In the second half, using the JFWO 20th-anniversary theme “Connecting” as our keyword, we’ll discuss the future of fashion in 2045—a time when AI and 3D printing are on the rise—as well as what brands should aspire to be and a message for the next generation.
