Aiming to expand the strengthening international transmission of Fashion Week in Tokyo, we attract and support Press and Buyers from overseas, who introduce the brands and designers based in Tokyo.

To expand the participation of international press and buyers in the 2027 S/S season of the Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO organized by Japan Fashion Week Organization (Period: Monday, Aug 31st, 2026 – Saturday, Sept 5th, 2026), we will be offering to partial support for expenses related to visiting Japan for applicants who are selected and meet certain criteria. Applications will be open to all overseas-based press and buyers from today (Monday, May 18th, 2026) until Friday, June 12th, 2026. We look forward to hearing your ideas for Fashion Week reports from the press, as well as to buyers actively seeking out new Tokyo-based designers.

[Eligibility Requirements]
Overseas-based media editors and freelance journalists, as well as any editors, writers, stylists, or photographers affiliated with a media outlet, shop buyers and merchandisers, including online store.

Press: At least 3 articles covering Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 27 S/S highlights (multiple brands) and accompanying Social Networking coverages.
Buyers: Approximately 5 business meetings with participating brands (JFWO will coordinate as necessary).
（Includes JFW NEXT BRAND AWARD 2027 Grand Prix designer (Brand) Business Meetings.）

Those who actively attend shows and events necessary for coverage and business meetings, participate and cooperate with events organized by JFWO (JFWO will coordinate invitations and appointments as necessary).

[Partial Travel Support]
Partial travel support for expenses related to visiting Japan (Amount of support fee to be negotiated depending on the conditions of the activities and travel expenses. As a general rule, the flight and hotel accommodation will be arranged by the applicant.

[Desired Length of Stay]
Press : Sunday, Aug 30th, 2026 – Saturday, Sept 5th, 2026 (length of stay negotiable)
Buyers : Sunday, Aug 30th, 2026 – Wednesday, Sept 9th, 2026 (Considering business meetings for the exhibition after Fashion Week, we desire to stay until the middle of the following week./ Negotiable)
