Brand information / About the designer
―What inspired you to become a fashion designer? Describe developments leading up to the brand launch.
From an early age, he was exposed to street culture under the influence of his father.
After failing my university entrance exams and feeling inferior to others, I reconsidered what I really wanted to do and decided to become a fashion designer.
After working as a modelist and graphic designer for a domestic brand for two and a half years, I launched the brand.
―What is the brand’s concept? What do you want to communicate through fashion designing?
It eliminates the seams between people and clothes, and connects societies that are divided for various reasons such as country, environment, language, and values.
Like a prism, I think the meaning of clothes is determined by the person who wears them.
A new community will be born as a tool to connect people. I would like to create more and more such opportunities.
―What is your source of inspiration in creating fashion? What is your process of developing a design concept?
We value Japan’s unique culture and original scenery. By blurring the boundaries and fusing them, he creates creations by mixing conflicting concepts of different things.
―Who are your current stockists (areas, retail formats, etc.)? Describe the typical followers of your brand.
Mainly develop POP UP at domestic select shops and department stores.
I get the impression that there are many people who are active not only in fashion, but also as designers and artists.
―Which brands, designers, styles and cultures have had the most impact on your fashion designing, and why?
Street culture has become a part of my life, so I have a strong admiration for Urahara culture such as JONIO and NIGO.

About efforts for SDGs
―Please tell us about your brand and personal efforts and challenges regarding SDGs.
Not to mention the waste cloth of the factory, the upcycle of old clothes, and the universal design. We have been focusing on fashion technology for some time. Business is rapidly changing from physical to online. Similarly, fashion is undergoing multidirectional changes in movement, information, and the transmission and reception of value. At the same time, we are also trying to decarbonize by focusing on the production of secondary materials using limestone as a raw material as an approach to environmental issues.
As a brand, we are working to create opportunities to change people’s behavior.
