To expand the participation of international press and buyers in the 2025 A/W Season of the Rakuten Fashion WeekTokyo, organized by Japan Fashion Week Organization (Dates: Monday, March 17th, 2025 – Saturday, March 22nd, 2025), we will be offering to support portions of travel expenses for applicants who meet certain criteria. Applications will be open in the period from today (Friday, January 10th, 2025) until Thursday, January 23rd, 2025 to all international press (including freelance journalists, editors, writers, and photographers) and buyers (including online store buyers and merchandisers).
 
【Application Details】
・Application Period
Friday, January 10th, 2025 – Thursday, January 23rd, 2025 18:00PM (Japan Time)　
・Eligibility Requirements
Media editors and freelance journalists, as well as any editors, writers, or photographers affiliated with a media outlet. Shop buyers, merchandisers including online store.
 
Press: At least 3 articles covering Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 25 AW highlights (multiple brands) and accompanying Social Networking coverage.
Buyers: Approximately 5 business meetings with participating brands (JFWO will coordinate as necessary).
 
・Travel Support / Number of Invitees
Partial support for expenses related to visiting Japan (Amount of support to be negotiated depending on the conditions of the activities and travel expenses. Flight and hotel accommodation must be arranged by the applicant).
Up to 5 people will be selected for the 2025 AW season (If no applicants meet the conditions, there may be no accepted applicants).
 
・Desired Length of Stay
Sunday, March 16th, 2025 – Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 (length of stay negotiable)
