As of today, Thursday, May. 7th, we are now accepting applications from brands to participate in Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2027 S/S season hosted by the Japan Fashion Week Organization (Event period: Monday, August 31st – Saturday, September 5th 2026. Official venue: Shibuya Hikarie).
JFWO celebrated its 20th anniversary in the Spring/Summer 2026 season held last September. From 2027 onward, with respect for its history of showcasing and building Japanese fashion to the world, JFWO will move forward, aiming to become an even more attractive and unique fashion week in Tokyo.

We have been accepting applications from brands that will have a physical presentation (runway) format only since the 26 SS season. In addition, regarding the Official Designer Shows, we generally accept a solo show for each brand, and joint shows and group presentations will be categorized separately from the Official Designer Shows. For joint shows and group participation, please enquire the details from the person in charge.

This season, we will continue to strengthen our efforts to attract buyers and press from overseas, and promote international exchange and information dissemination as a globally significant fashion week. We also plan to implement various initiatives, including communication through our owned media, including official social media channels.

Support for Overseas Brand Promotion

With the aim of expanding international business opportunities and strengthening global visibility, JFWO invites selected international media, buyers, and influencers to attend Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO. Through coverage of runway shows, exhibitions, and showrooms, as well as by providing opportunities for interviews and direct engagement with participating brands, we promote brand visibility from Tokyo to a global audience. As a result, we aim to increase international media exposure and facilitate business opportunities such as orders and buying from overseas markets.
In addition, we organize opportunities such as meetings between visiting international media and brands, as well as talk sessions involving participating brands, in order to further enhance the global dissemination of information.

How to apply

Please read the Participation Guide (PDF) carefully before submitting your application via the application Form.
Please address sample lookbooks as follows: Japan Fashion Week Organization / Attn: Minegishi.

First-time participating brands must complete the Hearing Sheet for Participating Brands and upload it to the Application Form 4/4 Submission.

※From the 2025 A/W season, applications are accepted exclusively through the online form.
