Daisuke Yanai was born in Chiba, Japan in 1981. He had worked in several stores after the graduation of high school. In 2007, Daisuke entered NEPENTHES, worked as staff and buyer. After leaving the company, he built his career in NUMBER(N)INE until the breaking up in 2010. From 2011 Spring/Summer, Daisuke launched his own label BARBUDOS.

Barbudos set the debut collection in Spring/Summer 2011, The creation made by eliminating the border of Men's and Women's wear and give a original approach to the garments. It allows their creation to be seen in a strong contrast of passion and sensitiveness.
