YLANG YLANG

Ylang Ylang is the name of a flower, which means for “flower of all flowers" in Indonesian. Our brand designs the glamorous, refined, elegant, and attractive scent drifting from this flower, through the delicate details in the clothes.
We hope to provide new inspiration, discoveries that awaken the latent cells of each individual, and the happiness of being a woman, to mature, independent women with a playful heart.

Born in Osaka in 1981, Ema Yamagata spent the majority of her life growing up overseas in New York, Dusseldorf, and Milan. She graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Theatre (Costume Design) and from the Fashion Institute of Technology with an A.A.S. in Fashion Design. After working for Nicole Miller Collection as a designer, she joined Ylang Ylang in 2010, and is currently the Chief Designer.
