DESIGNER
Yohei Ohno
After studying the fundamentals of garment construction at Bunka Fashion College, he won a design competition award and went on to study abroad at Nottingham Trent University in the UK.
Upon returning to Japan, he launched YOHEI OHNO, presenting his debut Autumn/Winter 2015 collection in 2015.
In 2016, he received the 3rd TOKYO FASHION AWARD.
In 2017, he staged his first runway show at Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO 2017 A/W, and was also awarded the JFLF AWARD.
In 2018, he was selected as VOGUE TALENT 2018 by Vogue Italia, and was named a finalist for the International Woolmark Prize.
In 2019, in addition to his seasonal collections, he launched a new line titled “DRESS LINE.”
In 2020, he initiated the “3711 Project,” utilizing deadstock kimono fabric bolts.
In 2022, he returned to the runway for the first time in five years at Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2023 S/S.
In 2024, he created costumes for director Gakuryu Ishii’s film The Box Man, and also designed the attendant uniforms for the Sumitomo Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka–Kansai Expo.
In 2026, he received the 11th TOKYO FASHION AWARD.
