Yasutoshi Ezumi designer as the winners of the 6th DHL Designer Award

Yesterday, March 21, 2014: DHL, the world’s leading postal and logistics provider, announced Yasutoshi Ezumi as the winners of the 6th DHL Designer Award, an award given to young, up-and-coming designers with international potential.
The winner of the DHL Designer Award for the 2014-15 Autumn/Winter Collection is Yasutoshi Ezumi who has been participating in Fashion Week Tokyo since the 2011
Autumn/Winter season. After working with participating brands such as Alexander McQueen, he launched the fashion brand “Yasutoshi Ezumi” in the 2010 Autumn/Winter
season. A young, up-and-coming designer who has been selected in the 3rd SHINMAI Creator’s project in March 2011 organized by JFW Organization, his brand is expected to expand further overseas in addition to his existing shops in China and the US. A commemorative plaque and a supplementary prize of overseas shipment credit worth 500,000 yen were presented to Yasutoshi Ezumi by Junko Takata, Senior Director, Marketing, DHL Japan in the award ceremony.
Upon receiving the award, Yasutoshi Ezumi said, “It is a great honor, and the staff of Yasutoshi Ezumi are all grateful. As there have been more overseas business opportunities and participation in exhibitions in recent years, the shipment support from DHL will be of great help this season, especially with my plans to bring our expansion to a global level.”
