The “Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO 2017 S/S” (Amazon FWT) held between Oct. 17th (Mon.) 〜 23rd (Sun.), welcomed its first day.

”YOSHIKIMONO” glamorously gracing the first day (Shibuya Hikarie, Hall A, 14:00-)

It has been a year since the announcement of the first collection last October, at Fashion Week TOKYO 2016 S/S. With his all-new collection of 21 pieces, and a scaled-up version of his world of “stillness and motion,” along with a piano and drum performance by YOSHIKI himself, he fascinated and stole the hearts of the guests at the venue.

In addition, outside the venue was a showing of never-before-seen footage of last year’s collection, shot with an 8K camera; a first in the world of fashion. Furthermore, this year’s collection was shot by the world’s first handy-type realistic 8K high-vision camera, with its clear recordings shown immediately after the show during the on-the-spot interview. This show created a true fusion between the “tradition and innovation” fashion and the digital, which YOSHIKI holds so dear.

Opening reception (Omotesando Hills, Space O, 18:00-)

The opening reception was held at Omotesando Hills, which has become one of the main venues since the previous term. The details of “Amazon Fashion 01” were announced by Amazon Fashion, which has become the title sponsor, starting from this season, along with an announcement of a collection by YUIMA NAKAZATO, on the 21st (Fri.), from 17:00〜, at Omotesando Hills (this collection will be open to the public on the 22nd (Sat.), from 11：00〜18：00, free admission, at Omotesando Hills).
It was an exciting opening and a suitable start for Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO.
