Models chosen in the “Debutante Model Project,” make a runway appearance

Asian Fashion Meets TOKYO Indonesia (March 22nd, 15:00〜＠Shibuya Hikarie)
The Japan Modeling Agencies Association and the Japan Fashion Week Organization (JFWO) joined hands to start up the “Debutante Model Project,” as a “project to dig up Japanese models of the next generation.” With this being the 4th time, 15 men and six women have been scouted as models up until now.
This project selects young models from around Japan, whom wish to be active nationally and internationally, and gives them a chance to make an appearance as models in an Amazon FWT runway. This time around, three men and four women from Sapporo, Tokyo, and Nagoya were chosen.
As with yesterday, an on-the-spot interview was held again today.

“AT TOKYO” is not just a show or installation announcement of collections by designers picked-up seasonally, but also a presentation in which the cultural background of their creations can be experienced. This season, three brands will be making an announcement.
Today’s announcement was made by “BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS” at SOUND MUSEUM VISION, in Shibuya. Based on a simple American trad., BEDWIN adds details to things we have experienced and reconstructs them, expressing a bad-boy taste while keeping a clean, unique look. Every season, their collection is created by an imaginary back-band called the “HEARTBREAKERS” ‘sounding off’ songs and albums from which they have been influenced as the season’s theme, which adds essence to the basic world view of BEDWIN.

The “DHL Designer Award,” is welcoming its 12 time this season.
