On-the-spot interview of Amazon Japan×IMG×JFW was held

Right after the “AT TOKYO” announcement, an on-the-spot interview was held with Mr. James Peters of Amazon Fashion, Ms. Catherine Bennet, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of IMG Fashion Events and Properties, visiting Japan for the first time in three years, and Mr. Miyake, Chief Director of the Japan Fashion Week Organization. Each spoke on their impression of the effort.

Save the Energy is a project that was started up during the 2016 A/W collection.

For this term’s “SAVE THE ENERGY PROJECT,” an event to announce its official mark was held on the stages of Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO. A special ‘koza’ stage was built in Hall B of Shibuya Hikarie, and guests enjoyed the concept of SAVE THE ENERGY through a ‘rakugo’ performance, one of Japan’s most energy-saving traditional performing arts.
