October 16th, “Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO 2018 S/S” (AmazonFWT) season, to be held between Oct. 16th (Mon.) – 22nd (Sun.), welcomed its first day.

Made an appearance at the opening ceremony of “DESIGNART 2017”

The opening ceremony of DESIGNART 2017, a major related event of AmazonFWT 2018 S/S, was held today. DESIGNART 2017 will be held during the same term as AmazonFWT 2018 S/S, and it too welcomed its first day today.

Ms.Tominaga commented, “I’m very honored to be the Official Ambassador. I think the fashion industry has entered a new era, by the activities of influencers. I am very much looking forward to Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO, which started today, and support it full-heartedly.
I am also looking forward to learning about the latest in Design x Art x Architect at DESIGNART, which will be held during the same term. Japanese culture is gathering attention from around the world, but I would like for Tokyo to become an integral member of the global fashion circuit, along with Paris, Milan, London, NY, and I would like contribute to the Japanese fashion industry in a new way.”

YOHEI OHNO (10:30〜 @Shibuya Hikarie 9th floor, Shibuya Hikarie Hall B)

First up in presenting their collection was “YOHEI OHNO”.
They were one of the award-winning brands of last time’s TOKYO FASHION AWARD.

This, being the second Amazon Fashion “AT TOKYO”, 5 brands will be presenting their collections.
