PITTI IMMAGINE presents HED MAYNER Guest Designer at Pitti Immagine Uomo No. 109
The announcements continue for the special events program of the upcoming edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, No. 109 (Florence, January 13-16, 2026). Guest Designer will be HED MAYNER, Founder and Creative Director of the eponymous brand. For the occasion, he will stage a special runway show in Florence, bringing to life an event in his unmistakable style.
“Creating is thinking with your hands,” says Francesca Tacconi, Special Events Coordinator at Pitti Immagine. “That’s what Hed Mayner’s collections seem to whisper. At the heart of his vision lies the body – the common denominator between attitude, movement, fit and individual taste. His is a conceptual, almost architectural approach, in open dialogue with the fluidity of the present.
Strength and lightness, craftsmanship and tailoring merge in garments that appear to rest effortlessly on the body, yet are charged with physicality. Clothes that defy convention – of gender, of context, even of gravity – interpreting sculptural and oversized forms. Hed never ceases to surprise us with the delicate balance he achieves in every piece, without any apparent effort, through contrasts: poetry and comfort, freedom and precision, intellect and craftsmanship.
For all these reasons and more, we can’t wait to welcome Hed Mayner to Pitti Uomo this January and discover the project he is creating for his Florentine debut.”
Here’s how Hed Mayner, the Israeli-born, Paris-based designer, responded to the invitation:
“I would like to thank Pitti Uomo for their invitation to present my new collection in January. It is a great honor to be a part of Pitti, which represents a genuine support for creativity, and I am so excited to be able to show my work in such an amazingly rich and historical city like Florence. This new context will encourage me to try new things.”

ABOUT
Hed Mayner is a Paris-based fashion designer recognized for his sophisticated and innovative vision of contemporary fashion. Growing up in a creative family – his mother is a painter and his father a metalworker – he developed a strong sensitivity to art and materials from an early age. He became interested in fashion at 16, working with leather, jewelry, and hand-sewing, nurturing a passion for garment construction and tailoring.
Starting his studying at the Institut Français de la Mode in Paris, he refined his technical expertise and shaped a personal vision that combines sartorial precision, formal freedom, and a profound sense of authenticity. Following his studies, Mayner launched his eponymous label, developing a design language where generous volumes, fluid fabrics, and impeccable constructions coexist. His creations balance strength and softness, structure and movement, combining solid masculine silhouettes with a contemporary sensibility.
Mayner’s aesthetic draws from the sacred and traditional as well as everyday clothing, military tailoring, and sportswear, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens to create an essential, timeless wardrobe. The body is central to his creative process: fit, proportions, and freedom of movement become tools to define a confident but never imposing attitude, leaving space for the wearer’s individuality.
Featured on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar, Mayner received the Karl Lagerfeld Prize from the LVMH Group in 2019. His collections are produced in Italy and distributed worldwide in boutiques such as Dover Street Market, United Arrows, Galeries Lafayette, and Antonia, and are regularly featured in prestigious publications including Vogue, Numéro, The New York Times, Encens, and Vanity Fair.
In every creation, Hed Mayner celebrates the beauty of construction, the freedom of movement, and the quiet strength of simplicity – composing a stylistic language that harmonizes tradition, spirituality, and modernity in a refined and profoundly personal balance. In addition to his own brand, Hed Mayner collaborates with several labels and has led the creative direction of Reebok footwear for the past two years. The collaboration with Reebok Ltd is a natural extension of his design lexicon: the two worlds are soulfully symbiotic, organically feeding off each other and creating a deep, harmonious aesthetic dialogue.
