As of today, Tuesday, Nov. 18th, we are now accepting applications from brands to participate in Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2026 A/W season hosted by the Japan Fashion Week Organization (Event period: Monday, March 16th – Saturday, March 21st, 2026) (Official venue: Shibuya Hikarie). Digital presentations were previously in the official Fashion Week schedule amid the COVID-19 pandemic; however, as physical presentations are now returning to the mainstream worldwide, we have been accepting applications from brands participating in a physical presentation (runway)format since the last 26 SS season. In addition, regarding the Official Designer Shows, we generally accept a solo show for each brand, and joint shows and group presentations will be categorized separately from the official schedule. For joint shows and group participation, please enquire separately.
Japan Fashion Week (JFW), which first began in October 2005, celebrated its 20th anniversary with the 2026 Spring/Summer season held in September.

For the Autumn/Winter 2026 season, we will continue to strengthen our efforts to develop compelling content and promote it both domestically and internationally, including initiatives and events marking our anniversary year, as we look ahead to the next two decades.

Also, we look forward to hearing from the brands that will be approaching a milestone year next year or considering anniversary initiatives. We at JFWO would be pleased to discuss with you in exploring ways to celebrate together and support your brand’s milestone.

How to apply

Please read the Participation Guide (PDF) carefully before submitting your application via the application form.
Please address sample lookbooks as follows: Japan Fashion Week Organization / Attn: Minegishi.

First-time participating brands must complete the Hearing Sheet for Participating Brands and upload it to the Application Form 4/4 Submission.
※For details on how to apply, please refer to P.28 of the “Participation Guide”.
※From the 2025 A/W season, applications are accepted exclusively through the online form.
