Aiming to expand the strengthening international transmission of Fashion Week in Tokyo, we attract and support Press and Buyers from overseas, who introduce the brands and designers based in Tokyo.

To expand the participation of international press and buyers in the 2026 A/W Season of the Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo organized by Japan Fashion Week Organization (Period: Monday, March 16th, 2026 – Saturday, March 21st, 2026), we will be offering to partial support for expenses related to visiting Japan for applicants who are selected and meet certain criteria. Applications will be open to all overseas-based press and buyers from today (Friday, November 28th, 2025) until Friday, December 19th, 2025. Regarding the press, the 26 A/W season marks the 20th anniversary of Japan Fashion Week, so we welcome any suggestions or consideration for coverage that takes the angle of the 20th anniversary.

【Application Details】

・Application Period　Friday, November 28th, 2025 〜 Friday, December 19th, 2025 18:00PM (Japan Time)　

・Eligibility Requirements
Overseas-based media editors and freelance journalists, as well as any editors, writers, stylists, or photographers affiliated with a media outlet, shop buyers and merchandisers, including online store.

Press: At least 3 articles covering Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 26 A/W highlights (multiple brands) and accompanying Social Networking coverage.
Buyers: Approximately 5 business meetings with participating brands (JFWO will coordinate as necessary).
（Includes JFW NEXT BRAND AWARD 2026 Grand Prix designer (Brand) Business Meetings.）

Those who actively attend shows and events necessary for coverage and business meetings, participate and cooperate with events organized by JFWO (JFWO will coordinate invitations and appointments as necessary).

・Travel Support
Partial support for expenses related to visiting Japan (Amount of support to be negotiated depending on the conditions of the activities and travel expenses. Flight and hotel accommodation must be arranged by the applicant).

・Desired Length of Stay
Press : Sunday, March 15th, 2026 – Saturday, March 21st, 2026 (length of stay negotiable)
Buyers : Sunday, March 15th, 2026 – Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 (Considering business meetings for the exhibition after Fashion Week, we desire to stay until the middle of the following week./ Negotiable)
