The Japan Fashion Week Organisation (JFWO) is committed to hosting ‘Fashion Week’ to showcase Japan’s outstanding fashion creativity, including emerging talent, both domestically and internationally.

Alongside this, we have a philosophy of serving as a platform to support Japanese designers from a long-term perspective, unconstrained by official periods, thereby invigorating Japan’s entire fashion and textile industry.

Based on this philosophy, while continuing to strengthen support for designers participating during the official Fashion Week periods, we will implement information dissemination both domestically and internationally through a registration system for desired designers who have previously held shows during the official Fashion Week periods.
 (This is limited to fashion designers based in Japan who hold runway shows outside the official fashion week periods.)

Accordingly, we provide the schedule for shows outside the official period of the 2026 A/W season as of today.

This initiative was developed through deliberation within JFWO, but remains temporary. We plan to review and improve it as circumstances evolve.

Brands that have previously participated in a runway show at Tokyo Fashion Week at least once and plan to hold a runway show in Japan (Presentations, installations, etc., require consultation)

Events held within one week before or after the Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO period are excluded.

▼ Eligible season

2026 Autumn/Winter collections (shows open to the general public or involving direct sales are excluded).
