As a Fashion Week dedicated to creating a place where you can discover the fun and emotion of fashion, we will continue to　create a variety of content and events open for the general public to enjoy, just as we did in previous seasons.

TRANOI TOKYO Opening Party x Japan Fashion Week Organization 20th Anniversary

To mark the 20th anniversary of Japan Fashion Week Organization, a joint party will be held during the event to further deepen our collaboration with TRANOÏ TOKYO, with whom JFWO has a partnership for international activities. The party is planned to be open to the general public as well as to those involved.

During Fashion Week, FASHIONSNAP will take snapshots of stylish visitors gathered at the show venues and post them on the official FASHIONSNAP Instagram account or the ‘Street Style’ section of the website. Additionally, some of the snapshots from those who have granted permission will be featured on Rakuten FWT and Rakuten Fashion
(portal site, Instagram Stories, and by R Instagram Stories).

FASHION TSUSHIN THEATER: 40 Years of Archives

Fashion Tsushin celebrates its 40th anniversary. Since its launch, the program has covered fashion collections from Paris, Milan, London, and Tokyo, while pursuing original projects through its own unique perspective. At this special event, selected episodes from its 40-year archive—including iconic moments, cultural features, and in-depth explorations of fashion—will be presented through exclusive original footage.

25 Years of the YKK FASTENING AWARDS: A Retrospective Exhibition of Winning Works

The YKK Fastening Award, one of Japan’s largest fashion design competitions for students, marks a milestone of 25 years of supporting the next generation of fashion creators.
During the above period, an exhibition will be held at 8/CUBE (8F, Shibuya Hikarie), the official venue of Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2026 A/W. The exhibition features a special archive collection reflecting on 25 years of the Award’s history, together with the winning works from the 25th Award (2025).Discover new possibilities in fashion born from young creators’ originality and craftsmanship, in collaboration with YKK products.

JFW NEXT BRAND AWARD  Special Award Winning Brands Exhibition

The JFWO Brand Support Program [JFW NEXT BRAND AWARD], launched in 2022, will showcase the latest collections from the following brands. These brands were selected for the “Special Award” as promising brands expected to develop further.
