Report 「TOKYO FASHION AWARD 2026 WINNERS’ EVENT」
The TOKYO FASHION AWARD aims to support Tokyo-based fashion brands as they expand their businesses and grow on the global stage. “TOKYO FASHION AWARD 2026 WINNERS’ EVENT” was held during “Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2026 A/W”.
From March 16 to 21, the eight brands of the winning designers from the 11th “TOKYO FASHION AWARD 2026” presented their Fall/Winter 2026-27 collections over six days through runway shows and presentations, each showcasing their unique brand visions.
Additionally, as part of the event support, a collaboration with KIJIMA TAKAYUKI was raunched, through which headwear was created for selected looks from the KAKAN and yushokobayashi shows. Takayuki Kijima, a designer who has continued making hats for more than 30 years while carrying on the European tradition of haute couture, gave shape to each designer’s vision from the perspective of a hat maker and supported the creation of headwear for brands set to lead a new era of fashion.
The TOKYO FASHION AWARD will continue to support the award winners through showroom presentations in Paris next June and September during Paris Fashion Week, helping them further expand their presence on the global stage.
