Brand information / About the designer
―What inspired you to become a fashion designer? Describe developments leading up to the brand launch.
From learning art painting to a fashion designer, I convey the fashion in artistic expression through my annual personal art exhibition. The concept of my clothing comes from people and the elements of my painting.
―What is the brand’s concept? What do you want to communicate through fashion designing? What are the images of men and women you want to project?
I combine the clothing with social issues and fashion trends according to pop art. I believe that dressing with a fashionable attitude will bring people happiness. I hope the true image of every single man and woman is to be honest to themselves, and this is also a lifestyle I am expecting.
―What is your source of inspiration in creating fashion? What is your process of developing a design concept?
The inspiration comes from the definition and extension of different theme, which is mixed with various elements, space and dimensions by arts. The process of development and design are exciting, and it is also a kind of my self-achievement and self-exploration.
―Who are your current stockists (areas, retail formats, etc.)? Describe the typical followers of your brand.
The buyers’ boutiques in China, Dubai and Europe. People who are young, fashionable with various lifestyles.
―Which brands, designers, styles and cultures have had the most impact on your fashion designing, and why?
The changing of clothing structure by Comme de GarÇon, and the handmade innovation by Manish.

―Why have you chosen Tokyo(Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO) as the venue for presenting your collection?
A place of global fashion landmarks.
―What is the concept / image for your brand’s 2018 S/S season?
The magic of “meow star” is to use the letters, numbers and cat to shape and protect the environment and by adding the elements of plant dyeing on the printed fabrics to reflects the environmental protection.
―What is your vision for your show / installation?
There is smoke, jungle and light.
Future
―What are your brand’s future outlook and goal?
My goal is to open up a flagship store in Japan, which attracts more Japanese media and people to understand my brand concept and build up the brand awareness.

―What does Tokyo represent for you?
Tokyo is a fashion vane in Asia, and a breeding ground of designers from all over the world.
―Which parts / sites of Tokyo do you like most? Why?
Tokyo, Osaka and Hokkaido; the fashion prevalence in Tokyo, the scenery of Osaka, and the seafood in Hokkaido.
―What are your favorite / recommended shops (of any genres, e.g. fashion stores, homeware stores, food services), facilities and sites?
I like all Artdeco style designers’ shops!
