KHOKI (by R) (From 7:00 PM) Terada Warehouse
Rakuten Group launched the “by R” project in an effort to reinvigorate Japan’s fashion scene and broadcast its appeal globally. “KHOKI,” a brand which garnered global attention after being selected as a semifinalist for the LVMH Prize 2024 and named one of the “10 Asian Designers to Watch” in 2025, returned this season to present their S/S collection.
The Terada Warehouse venue featured elaborate sets including a kitchen and even a bedroom, making it feel as if you were in someone’s home space.
Approximately half of the props used in the show were supplied from the homes of members of the KHOKI design team.
The starting point for the collection was a room in the designer’s childhood home in Yamanashi. The vast array of set items was like emptying out a treasure chest of memories—revealing the roots of the designer through the scenery of their childhood home. This season, the designer added an over-the-top essence reminiscent of stage costumes to their collection. Details from costumes and military uniforms the designer had used to collect were incorporated into the items and styling.
A jacket featuring “Dumbo” particularly stood out amongst the collection, and has been reported to be part of an upcoming collaboration between Dover Street Market and Disney. A member of the design team commented on the show, saying, “I think we’ll be able to convey the brand’s appeal to people who haven’t experienced KHOKI until now. I’m really looking forward to what’s next.”
This memorable evening was attended by various celebrities sporting KHOKI originals, including UTA, Fuju Kamio, and Tsubasa Honda.
KIDILL × ALPHA INDUSTRIES × HIZUME Installation Party was held at MIDWEST TOKYO
An installation party showcasing the world of the collaboration items between KIDILL and ALPHA INDUSTRIES was held at MIDWEST TOKYO.
Original artwork by Trevor Brown, the artist who created the prints on the items, was also exhibited. A special triple collaboration featuring hat brand HIZUME was also unveiled—a unique headpiece reconstructed from an MA-1 jacket. Despite the rain, the venue was bustling with visitors.

soduk (From 4:00 PM) Shibuya Parco, 10th Floor, PBOX STND
Soduk closed out Fashion Week with a collection themed “LOVE.” The designer created a show that evoked the spirit of Okinawa, designer Kudo’s hometown, all set to a soundtrack produced by KID FRESINO. The KEEN footwear worn by the models was custom-designed by Taichi Yamane, and the gerbera daisies distributed to attendees were prepared by designer Ochi of DILIGENCE PARLOUR. T-shirts and caps created in collaboration with Okinawa’s famous Orion Beer also made an appearance. The show was born from a convergence of all the love that has surrounded the designer. The models leisurely walked down the runway—changing clothes, gazing at paintings, and even stopping to relax in spaces partitioned like rooms.
Models wore indigo-dyed T-shirts and played with tiny ring toys from childhood. Whether you make an effort to piece things together to create the best possible outfit or make everyday clothes from whatever you have, there’s bound to be a special charm, just like that simple nameless meal you eat when you return to your parents’ home after a long time away. To close the event, singer-songwriter Ayano Kaneko performed a live rendition of her song “Sabishikunai (I’m not sad).
The lyrics—“There’s no need to go so far away”—resonated with the warm atmosphere in the venue and the meaning of the gerbera daisies held by the audience—hope—highlighting the contours of the small acts of love that bloom in everyday life.
Official partner NARS provided backstage makeup support
Inspired by François Nars’ innovative and free-spirited philosophy of beauty—NARS, the makeup brand you can always rely on for capturing your artistic vision—has been named the official partner for the 2027 S/S season.

Various drinks were distributed at the official venue
At the runway events held at the official venue Shibuya Hikarie’s Hikarie Hall, Sapporo Beer’s SORACHI1984, Red Bull energy drinks, the lightly carbonated “kiyasume,” and Rakuten Original Natural Mineral Water were distributed to guests. The drinks were handed out in the foyer after the show, and attendees enjoyed chatting while sipping their drinks.
