―What inspired you to become a fashion designer? Describe developments leading up to the brand launch.
I am interested in Japanese traditional arts as an influence of my Japanese teacher from high school. Once I took a lesson of Sado but it was not really for me, then I started to getting into my another interest which is fashion.
―What is the brand’s concept? What do you want to communicate through fashion designing?
Transformed the idea of Japanese traditions into fashion with detailed craftsmanship for tailoring technique.
―What is your source of inspiration in creating fashion? What is your process of developing a design concept?
Anything that I can feel sense of Japanese traditions.
―Who are your current stockists (areas, retail formats, etc.)? Describe the typical followers of your brand.
I hope I can expand it from now.
―Which brands, designers, styles and cultures have had the most impact on your fashion designing, and why?
Kansai Yamamoto
The video of his catwalk show in London had impacted on me a lot.
About 2016 S/S collection
―Why have you chosen Tokyo (or MBFWT) as the venue for presenting your collection?
Being “Official” is kind of important.
―What is the concept / image for your brand’s 2016 S/S season?
My process of making a collection was always started with solid, constructed concept.
But this time, I want to know a natural expression coming from deep inside of me, so I haven’t set any theme or concept for 2016ss collection.
Future
―What are your brand’s future outlook and goal?
I hope I can make my brand gradually bigger.

Felt a bit awkward to come to Tokyo as I am from Chiba.
―Which parts / sites of Tokyo do you like most? Why?
My college was in Shinjuku so I like there

Second hand shop.
