2017AW Theme ～Chikara in Minami～
Japan Senses focus on Southern Kyushu,with powerful climate and grandmagnificent nature. We propose Oshima Tsumugi, which has a history of 1300 and known as one of the three greatest fabrics of the world. This time, two regions "Amami Oshima" and "Kagoshima" cooperate with each other,and offer new values and possibilities.

Oshima Tsumugi will be presented at the “JAPAN SENSES, the Oshima Tsumugi STORY connecting to the future”, held at the ISETAN Shinjuku store. From collaboration pieces with “the Sakaki” and “Sasquatchfabrix,” to art pieces by Ms. Reiko Sudo, the fabric designer / design director of “NUNO”, and Mr. Kounosuke Hattori of , you will be able to see many pieces that will introduce you to new attractions of the Amami Oshima Tsumugi.
