Winners of “TOKYO FASHION AWARD 2017,” announced
An announcement was made of the winners of the 3rd “TOKYO FASHION AWARD.”
This award selects and is presented to the hottest Tokyo fashion designers of the time, with the potential to be recognized globally.
It is already decided that the winners will be exhibiting their collections during the Paris Fashion Week, at “showroom.tokyo,” an individual operation of this organization.

After the announcement of the “TOKYO FASHION AWARD,” the show was presented at Shibuya Hikarie, Hall A. The designer, Mr. Shinpei Yamagishi, commented on winning the award, at the on-the-spot interview after the show.

“I’m very happy. Overseas, there are brands by designers around the same age as I, that are already doing well, and I’m eager to find out whether I’m up to the task of fighting in the same battlefield.”
