Japan Fashion Week 20th Anniversary Press Release
On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, JFW has prepared a special press release reflecting on the distinctive fashion culture that has emerged in Tokyo over the past two decades. This release poses key questions: What kind of fashions have been born in Tokyo in this time? How have the formal and social qualities of Western dress been adopted and continually reinterpreted through the lens of the era and the individual?
